It is an honor to be representing the great city of Battle Ground, Washington. I have been in the printing and visual communication industry for 35 years. I began my career as a pencil artist on paper. In the late 1980’s graphic design on the computer became very popular and I quickly made the transition. I studied computer graphics in Indiana where I was born and raised. I have been a freelance designer tied closely to the music industry as well as working for large companies like Day Dream Publishing and NASCAR. I am a member of the Battle Ground Art Alliance. I am also on the Design Committee for the Vancouver’s Downtown Association. I have worked on many mural projects in downtown Vancouver and mural panels for the Fourth Plain Forward project. I am currently a printing consultant for International Graphics & Nameplate, Inc. located in Salmon Creek. I have always been closely tied to the commercial arts. I am a volunteer running coach and mentor at the Portland Rescue Mission Harbor. I coach men from the couch to a half marathon every year at the Harbor. I am married to my lovely wife DaLynn and we have 4 children, 2 cats and 1 dog.
