Alice Yang is an art educator in Washougal who moved from Texas in 2011. After graduating from the University of Texas with a degree in architecture and working for firms in Texas and New York, she discovered her passion for education after the birth of her daughter. She is completing her Master's of Art Education degree in June of 2021 and is looking forward to developing a choice-based art program that focuses on process over product and teaching students to think and work like artists. She enjoys exploring the beautiful landscapes of the Northwest and hopes one day to hike the Pacific Crest Trail.
