Narrative Questions
Please answer the following questions:
- Describe your interest in serving as the Clark County Poet Laureate (or in cas of nomination, why do you think this nominee is a candidate for CCPL)? How would your background and approach make you uniquely suited to this role at this time?
- Briefly describe your relevant experience: What have you learned from teaching poetry, leading writing workshops, or facilitating writing groups or poetry readings?
- Provide an example of a public speaking opportunity that demonstrated your gifts and experience.
- What poets do you admire for their work, and how have they influenced your writing?
- Please describe how you have engaged new and diverse voices in past work/projects and how you might envision engaging new and diverse voices and perspectives if you were selected as CCPL?

Literary Bio (maximum 250 words)
Narrative Questions - one to two page statement responding to Narrative Questions
Work Sample - published or unpublished poetry (up to three pages)
Two professional references who can speak to your commitment to and engagement in the arts
Two letters of recommendation from respected members of the literary community (except any previous Clark County Poet Laureate)
